Paper cores are used to wind paper, manmade leather, plastic foils, carpets, textile fabric, etc.
Cores are produced by spiral or convolute winding.
Specific quality requirements, namely radial strength value, can be met by changing the core layer setup during winding. Cores can further be cut to lengths required (tubes). Such tubes are mostly used to wind various narrow strip materials (such as adhesive tapes, foils, textile fabrics and yarns, etc.) or to secure goods in cartons or boxes during transportation.
